Margaret Sambad (nee Clapp) Collection of Photos Cranbrook High School Girls Bugle Band. B/W Photo band in formation beside plane (.054), 2 gold bars on black background patches (a), 1 red drum patch (b), list and order of songs (c), and Postcard (d). This Band was organized in 1941. In 1951 and again in 1952 it won first prize as best band at the Pacific National Exhibition at Vancouver. As winning band in the Calgary Stampede Parade for the years 1952, 1953, and 1954, it now has permanent possession of the T. Eaton Trophy. |
