Victoria, A Primer for Regional History in Architecture 1843 - 1929
Victoria, A Primer for Regional History in Architecture 1843 - 1929, soft cover, illustrated. A pilgrim Guide to Historic Architecture. This book addresses an age uninhibited by the modern "cult of brevity." Written as an armchair guide to Victoria's architectural history and some of its significant historic buildings, this volume also appreciates that architecture is a medium which demands physical experience. The intention throughout has been to open windows on Victoria's building history, not close doors on further study.
textual record : book, soft cover
