Costume History Through Paper Dolls Catalog
This catalog marks seventeen years of issuing definitive illustration and description of period costume, providing access to a broad public far beyond the doors of each costume collection featured in these works. Most historic photographs - even those that are tinted - obscure details of color, texture, and even construction. Rigorously peer reviewed from concept through final painted boards, these books exhibit a standard that even the most exacting scholars in other disciplines might find surprising. |

Topps 'Rails and Sails' Bubble Gum Cards - Card 16, Enclosed Cab Loco
Topps 'Rails and Sails' Bubble Gum Cards - Card 16, Enclosed Cab Loco - These semi-streamlined locomotives represent a speedy type of Canadian steam motive power. They are of the 4-4-4 type, with 4 pilot wheels, 4 driving wheels, and 4 trailing wheels. The closed cab, with covered tender connection, entered through doors in the side, rather than through the open back as on most steam locomotives, is typical of modern Canadian design. |
