Heisler Locomotive, The 1891-1941
A definitive history of this interesting and capable machine. The Heisler Locomotive Works was the smallest of the three major mfg. of geared locomotives and began well after the other two were established. Heiler outlasted Climax, and sold more locomotives than Lima during the final 10 years of production. Contains a detailed builder's list with the known authenticated ownwers, and an owner's index.
