Murals From a Great Canadian Train
All text in both French and English.
History of the murals that were created specifically for The Canadian, murals which VIA rail Canada had the pleasure of rediscovering when VIA took over the trains and the mandate to run passenger service in Canada. 18 Distinctive & original works of art were painted to decorate the scenic dome cars. Some of the artists were members of the Group of Severn. The murals gave their names to the now legendary "Park" cars.
