Winnifred Mary Patton in front of Cenotaph, Cranbrook, BC
During the WW1 cenotaph dedication in Cranbrook, Mrs. Patton was the guest speaker and her 3 children sat in front of the memorial with Vimy Ridge banners on their chests. Mrs. Patton was the widow of Frederic Dufferin Patton who worked at the CPR. He passed away in 1918 after returning from Vimy Ridge.
