Cincinnatii & Lake Erie Railroad. Ohio’s Great Interurban System
The story of the nation's most colourful interurban systems. The C&LE represents both a prototypical and a unique interurban. Operated freight trains, interchanged with steam railroads, utilized streetcars, ran high-speed deluxe trains. It also ran trains over the main street cobblestones and winding back streets of the cities it served.
