Dining Car Chimes - xylophone used for calling guests to meals on the train. 4 silver chimes suspended by rope on a sound box with 5 round holes. 2 metal brackets appear to allow chimes to be fastened onto the wall or a base.

Xylophone used to annouce the serving of mealing on a passanger train. Dark mahogany enclosed box with 5 steel bars and 2 plastic mallets. (mallets are not original) 2 hanging hooks affixed on back to hang on wall. Stamped on back "Deacon [or Deagon?] Plate Chime No. 21"
