Accession: 2007.025.001 Object: settee Title: Antique Furniture - Settee Description: Circa 1890, Nova Scotia. Part of 5 piece parlor set, originally purchased by the Colquhouns of toney River, Pictou Co. Nova Scotia. Hand tooled wood, likely elm, horse hair filled, diamond tuffed. (Original upholstery was replaced in 1980s by Lorne Hedman of TLD Upholstery, Cranbrook, with very similar type fabric) Paired with Platform rocker 2007.025.002
