Within 20 years it had become a substantial electric interurban railway loperating large cars on fast schedules between Chicago and Milwaukee. Also operated streetcar service in Waukegan and Milwaukee, motorcoach routes and tours, and was a pioeer is what is known as piggy back rail freight operations. Ended in 1963.
