Canadian National Wool Blanket - design stripe located in middle with Canadian National stitched in above stripe. Design colours are black, red, green, and yellow with red binding tape on long edge on bottom, both sides with tawny-beige binding tape, and top edge with stitching in blanket only. 2 red leather triangle-shaped 3 button-holed reinforced corners on bottom of blanket. Blankets came from donor's CPR caboose which was bought from surplus in Ontario yards in about 1975. The caboose was sold with donor's property which is located near Harriston Ontario. It was used as a family retreat when the kids were young. |
