Sugar bowl (silver plate) - CPR for table service of granulated or cubed sugar. Silverware pieces are engraved with 'CPR' initials (worn from use) and are the style and design that were commonly used on Canadian Pacific dining cars as early as 1910. Markings on bottom - "W", 28039, crest & "Elkington Plate", "A.T. Wiley & Co Ld", "Montreal", enclosed "A", written "r", "18" on edge. Sugar Bowl & Creamer from Noella Rose Thompson and was presented to her Uncle G. Chalmers who retired in mid sixties, her grandmother had them and passed them to Noella at her death. |
